Limited colour palette When we talk about limited palettes, you must select maximum 5 to begin with Remember don't choose colours that are diffrent only in value light and dark but choose colours that are different on saturation too  in case you found painting from imagination is hard, you can always use reference and analyse their colour palettes like in this exemple :  ©Andrea Antoni
