Hatching guide

The dashed drawing serves to transfer the shape of objects, simulate the volume, light and shade and own painting of objects. Below are some rules of hatching in the picture: 1) The distance between the strokes in the entire figure should be the same. 2) The strength of the stroke tone depends on the force of the pencil's pressure, i n the darkest places we use repeated strokes of the stroke with a change in the direction of hatching. 3) Each stroke with nothing starts and fades away - this ensures a uniform tone where the hatching areas overlap. 4) The strokes are not long. 5) The pencil must be sharpened sharp - this should be monitored all the time   6) Make for yourself a tone scale of five grades for a better orientation in the possibilities of a pencil. As we know when we spend a lot of times drawing in lineart we dive into 2d and we forget the volume the 3d aspect and here is the mistake so be careful must we think always in 3d volume !

Step by step how to draw water

How to draw water ( sea ) Yeah, I know, lately I can not keep pace with the tutorials, but fortunately soon someone will come to my rescue! Today I want to talk about WATER. I was thinking of dividing the tutorial into two parts: the first, how to make water from the outside, for example, to represent seas, lakes, waves, while the second will analyze the close effects and how the light refines on objects through the water. So let's start with a standard color chart, blue, in my case composed of B00, B02, BG05 and BG07. At some point I went from B to BG because I like to have a green or violet note when I do the water. The concept is based on two levels of work, a bit like the tutorial of wood texture: first a base, in the case of water, shaded from light to darker to deepen, and then the volumes given by the ripples of the waves on the water.
